The Land of Goshen Community Market partners with local food pantries to ensure fresh, nutritious food reaches every neighbor in need. Our seasonal donation drives bring together vendors, shoppers, and local organizations to support and strengthen our community.

Metro East Humane Society - September Donation Drive
Since 1986, Metro East Humane Society has worked to enrich the lives of people, cats, dogs in Madison, St. Clair, Jersey, Bond, and Macoupin counties.
To do this, we operate a no-kill shelter; provide humane medical treatment, vaccinations, and spay/neuter services; educate adults and youth on the humane treatment of animals; build partnerships with community-based organizations, schools, public institutions, private corporations, and elected officials; and respect the public trust through the proper management of our resources.
Items Needed:
- Dry or wet pet food
- Paper towels
- Heavy-duty dog chew toys
- Cat toys
- Treats
- Cat beds
- Cleaning supplies
- Office supplies
- Fleece blankets
- 30 & 55 gallon trash bags
- Martingale dog collars

OWL - October Donation Drive
Get Inside. Get Connected. Get Well.
The Overnight Warming Locations (OWLs) in Alton, Edwardsville, and Granite City provide sanctuary for our unhoused neighbors on the coldest nights of the year.
The first part of OWL's strategy is simple: provide a warm, safe place for those most vulnerable to dangerously cold weather in our city to seek refuge. When our neighbors can survive the night, they get another chance to heal and live the life they are meant for.
Items Needed:
- Tight under layers in all sizes
- Thick, long socks
- Waterproof gloves
- Personal first aid kits
- Underwear of all kinds in all sizes
- Bras of all kinds in all sizes
- Thick Winter Coats (not dress jackets) in all adult sizes
- Tents
- Emergency blankets
- Hand warmers
- Sleeping bags
- Simple canned or boxed meal kits
- Individually wrapped snack foods
- Single powdered drinks
- Deodorant (Men and women's)
- Feminine supplies

MAC - August Donation Drive
The Macoupin Art Collective is a nonprofit school of arts and crafts in Staunton, IL dedicated to community art education through in-house workshops and mobile art bus.
They serve the community through several outreach methods including but not limited to: The Art Bus, Free After-School Art, The MAC Thrifter, Free Little Craft Cabinet, Scholarships, Teachers teaching Teachers
Items Needed:
- Toilet Paper
- Hand Soap (unscented)
- Paper Towels
- Paint Brushes

Brown Bag Buddies - July Donation Drive
Brown Bag Buddies collects supplies and donations to provide lunches for students in our area during the summer. This non-profit organization helps kids receive proper nutrition when they face the greatest risk of losing access to consistent meals. Last year, they served over 8,255 meals and reached 165–185 kids per week.
Please bring cash donations, scan the QR code at the Market or bring some healthy, individually wrapped foods and snacks.

- Beef sticks
- Instant oatmeal

Oasis Women's Shelter - June Donation Drive
Oasis provides emergency shelter and supportive services to victims of domestic violence. Domestic violence victims are frightened for themselves and their children. It is often difficult for them to leave or stay and maintain safety for many reasons including that they are often blamed for their own victimization. It is vital to the safety of our community that victims are provided effective services and those who use harm in relationships are held accountable.
Items Needed:
- Liquid laundry detergent
- Kitchen & bath cleaning supplies
- Personal care items (shampoo, conditioner, lotion, deodorant)
- Newborn & Size 1 diapers
- Baby wipes

I Support the Girls - June Donation Drive
I Support the Girls (ISTG) collects and distributes essential items, including bras, underwear, and menstrual hygiene products, allowing women and folx experiencing homelessness, impoverishment, or distress to stand tall with dignity.
Items Needed:
- Tampons & pads (all sizes - opened boxes welcome if items are clean!)
- Clean makeup or pencil bags for Period Packs
- New & gently-used sports bras

Glen-Ed Pantry - May Donation Drive
Since 1980, Glen-Ed Pantry has served families across Edwardsville School District #7 communities, including Edwardsville, Glen Carbon, Hamel, and surrounding areas. With over 500 dedicated volunteers, they provide food assistance to approximately 200 local families each month.
Items Needed:
- Breakfast bars & granola bars
- Hearty Soups
- Canned chili/tomato products
